                          The shortlist for the 2016 Boardman Tasker Award for Mountain Literature has been announced, and includes books by Alex Honnold, Simon McCartney, Steve Olson, Mark Vallance and Robert Wainwright,  Interest in the Boardman Tasker (BT) Award for Mountain Literature remains as great as ever and this year’s competition has resulted in 35 books being submitted, from personal journeys and adventures, poetry, biographies & autobiographies to novels. Reel Rock Tour set to kick off across UK

This year’s Reel Rock Tour is about to kick off with 14 screenings across the UK and Ireland. In its 10th year, Reel Rock 10 will once again bring a variety of adventure films to a worldwide audience, with the event taking place in over 450 locations across all seven continents. Shortlist for Boardman Tasker Prize announced

Everest movie – ‘Cliffhanger’ or ‘Touching The Void’?

The official trailer of the upcoming Hollywood movie ‘Everest’ was released recently and the big question of ‘will it be any good?’ got a bit closer to being answered. The film, starring Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, Keira Knightley and Emily Watson among others, focuses on the 1996 disaster on the mountain and follows the summit attempts of the teams led by American Scott Fischer (of Mountain Madness) and New Zealander Rob Hall (of Adventure Consultants).
