Win Adventure Film Festival tickets!

From high altitude mountaineering in the Nepalese Himalaya to climbing and base jumping in Norway’s fjords, this month’s Thrillseekers Adventure Film Festival will showcase hours of extreme outdoor footage from dozens of expeditions, focusing on the extraordinary stamina, strength and determination of all involved.

Kicking off on October 8th and running throughout the month at 30 UK cinemas, each evening of outdoor entertainment will be themed, allowing audiences to choose from High Altitude, Adrenaline Adventure or Endurance Adventure films.

High Altitude screenings will include: This is My Winter – featuring extreme snowboarder, Xavier de la Rue, attempting high alpine lines and big mountain runs on enormous ice sheets, and adventurer Charley Boorman’s new film Extreme Frontiers: South Africa, which sees Boorman and director Russ Malkin take on a seven week expedition to navigate the ice ridden roads of the Sani Pass.

We have a pair of tickets to give away to the London Gala on 1st November.

Ticket holders are welcomed to Vue West End with a complimentary drink in the bar from 7pm. At 8pm the film programme starts with a world’s first preview of Charley Boorman’s new TV series Extreme Frontiers South Africa and a Q+A with Charley himself. Next up is another world first – the premiere of Chris Davenport’s Volcano Tour: Skiing 15 major volcanoes of the Pacific Northwest of the USA in 14 days and we are thrilled that Chris Davenport will be flying in from Colorado to speak of his experiences and take questions from the floor. Our third speaker, Alastair Humphreys, joins us for a screening of his film, Crossing Iceland, followed by a Q&A on the unsupported trip to travel the country from north to south, past the now-famous volcano and down to the sea.

For a chance of attending this very special evening, just answer the following question:
Which of the following films is NOT playing at the Adventure Film Festival?

A. This Is My Winter
