Would you like the chance to spend a day on the hills with Everest mountaineers Kenton Cool and Lakpa Rita Sherpa? If so, don’t miss your chance to enter the BMC’s latest outdoor competition.
Four lucky winners will make their way to the Lake District on October 23 where they will join Kenton and Lakpa (along with the Sherpa Adventure Gear crew and Summit magazine) for a trek through the national park, before heading to the pub for a meal, drinks and a chat. Winners will also get the chance to try out the latest Sherpa gear and will be given a Sherpa Lithang Jacket to keep, along with tickets to see Kenton and Lakpa’s Everest Uncovered lecture on a date of their choice, a BMC skills DVD bundle, BMC maps and a t-shirt.
The competition has been set up by the British Mountaineering Council in conjunction with Sherpa Adventure Gear’s 2013 Everest Uncovered lecture tour, to mark the BMC hitting 36,000 Facebook likes.
