The winners of this year’s Outdoor Trade Show Novel Awards have been announced – with the Brunton Hydrogen Reactor winning the overall Product of The Year Award.
More than 90 products were put forward, and retailers were encouraged to pick their favourites using an online voting system. The top three most popular products in each of the seven categories were then put through to the finals before industry experts chose the winners.
Judges opted for the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Venture from Proagencies as the winner for the camping equipment category, the Paramo Men’s Enduro Jacket for the clothing section and Lowa’s Mountain Expert GTX boot as the top footwear item for 2013, while Vango’s Khumbu Rucksack was voted the best in travel luggage. The sleeping bags category saw the Therm-a-Rest Mira from Proagencies snag the top spot, with the AMG Group’s Force Ten MTN Tent named best in the tents and awnings section. In addition to winning Product of The Year, the Brunton Hydrogen Reactor came top in the accessories category.
