Entry is now open for next year’s Fjӓllrӓven Polar, a 300km Arctic event which will see participants travel by dog-sled from Signaldalen, Norway to Jukkasjärv in Swedish Lapland.

Named after Swedish outdoor brand Fjӓllrӓven, the free, three-day-long winter adventure will lead competitors across the Arctic tundra before camping in the wilderness alongside resident survival expert Johan Skulman. For the chance to win a place, candidates must visit the Fjӓllrӓven Polar web site and submit an application before December 10. Entrants are also asked to provide a video clip or photograph alongside a paragraph summarising why they should be granted entry.

Visitors to the site can then vote for their favourite application. One person from each country with the most votes will win a chance to take part, as will one other applicant from each country chosen by Fjӓllrӓven with the most creative entry. The Fjӓllrӓven Polar 2014 will take place next April.
