World renowned Canadian ice and mixed climber Will Gadd is set to deliver a lecture and a masterclass series next month in association with the North East Wales Mountaineering Club.
The three masterclasses covering Moving Well in Mountain Terrain, Training for Winter Performance and Drytooling will be held on the 17th, 18th and 20th and are the only classes of this kind that Will is set to deliver in the UK this year.
A lecture at Chester University is planned for the 19th of October that will also feature Tim Emmett – the highly entertaining climber and adventurer who made the infamous first ascent of Helmcken Falls with Will in 2011.
With only 10 places available on the masterclasses, the £100 tickets are set to go quickly and tickets for the lecture cost £15 if purchased in advance, £18 on the door. All profits are set to be reinvested into the North East Wales Mountaineering Club and Mountain Rescue England & Wales.
