For any aspiring adventure film makers, the opportunity to have your work screened at one of Europe’s best adventure film events is not to be missed!

The Chamonix Adventure Festival film programme showcases the latest adventure and environmental films from across the world. Several nights of inspiring tales will be screened in Chamonix and Les Houches, with explorers, athletes & film makers on hand to share their exploits and inspirations.

Films entered into the festival competition will be judged by an international jury, and the Chamonix Adventure Festival awards will be presented during the festival.

Film submissions are now open for the recently launched Winter Edition of the Chamonix Adventure Festival of 2015. Submissions are open via the website until 6th January 2015. Entry form and submission guidelines for films can be found at: Chamonix Adventure Festival Film Entries.

The new winter festival slot will feature exciting additions to the hugely successful Adventure Film & Photography School of the past three years. For aspiring talents who want to learn more about adventure film and photography, festival courses taught by a team of experts offer the chance to learn valuable skills to get a head start in the world of adventure image making.

An innovative workshop series will offer the chance to learn a range of skills, from filming and editing techniques, to capturing sound for film, the use of drones and other specialist equipment. Full details of courses and workshops will be announced on the website in the coming weeks.

Look out for news of pop-up screenings, art & photography exhibits, athlete appearances and on-snow activities. The full festival programme and details of the film selection will be announced throughout the winter season.

Chamonix Adventure Festival brings together adventurers, explorers and enthusiasts to share tales and display their work through film, photography and art in Europe’s premier adventure destination. For more information visit: www.chamonixadventurefestival.com.
