Join us in 2017 on our Everest Base Camp Trek where your will trek to the place where many mountaineers have spent much time in preparation and anticipation of their Everest summit attempt.
Witness for yourself the spectacular scenery of Nepal and the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas as you trek past amazing villages including Namche Bazaar, meet local Nepalis and Sherpas, awake with spectacular views and cross suspension bridges streaming with prayer flags. This itinerary allows you every opportunity to reach Everest Base Camp (5,364m) by providing you with 2 x acclimatisation days plus an extra day at Gorak Shep (5,288m), the original Base Camp, where you will spend two nights. You will also ascend Kala Patthar in the late afternoon to witness the amazing ‘alpenglow’ on Everest and the surrounding mountains as the sun sets.
On return to Kathmandu you will have a full day to explore the area, do a spot of shopping, visit incredible sites such as the Boudhanath, Swayambhunath – The Monkey Temple, and Dunbar Square and truly experience the cultural diversity of this fantastic place.
