Bonington backs John Muir Trust campaign to win £18,000

The John Muir Trust path restoration project on Suilven in north west Scotland was nominated by Berghaus to win £18,000 of funding from the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) and has been shortlisted for the online public vote. Sir Chris Bonington, having his own fond memories of his own adventures on Suilven, has backed the project. Fjallraven ambassador Alan Hinkes is about to kick off his UK-wide lecture tour, ‘An Evening with Alan Hinkes OBE’, taking place at Cotswold Outdoor stores this month.
