The official trailer of the upcoming Hollywood movie ‘Everest’ was released recently and the big question of ‘will it be any good?’ got a bit closer to being answered. The film, starring Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, Keira Knightley and Emily Watson among others, focuses on the 1996 disaster on the mountain and follows the summit attempts of the teams led by American Scott Fischer (of Mountain Madness) and New Zealander Rob Hall (of Adventure Consultants).
Whether the film turns out to be more ‘Cliffhanger’ than ‘Touching The Void’ remains to be seen, but UK audiences need only wait till September 18th to find out, when the film goes on general release.
