Helly Hansen have unveiled two new additions to their expedition-grade outerwear range, the Odin Hooded Belay Jacket and Men’s Odin Insulated Softshell. With a long length cut and large hood for additional warmth, the helmet and harness-compatible Belay jacket is priced at £300 and has been designed to allow freedom of movement and flexibility when carrying heavy climbing gear.
Easily compressed and condensed into a small pack, the waterproof and breathable jacket also has a laminated hood rim, stash pockets and draft stopper inner skirt, with woven water-shedding PrimaLoft One insulation, a Pertex Quantum lightweight outerface and Eco DWR coating for protection in severe mountain weather.
The Odin Insulated Softshell Jacket for men is lightweight but durable, with a double-weave construction and an adjustable waist making it suitable for high activity levels. The £200 jacket combines WarmCore padding and stretchy fleece material with a UPF 30+ sun shield for protection in hotter climates.
Designed with input from mountain professionals, both jackets are available now in a range of colours and sizes.
