Thursday 17th Jan sees the opening of the Outdoors Show at ExCeL London, and is well worth a visit if you’re looking to try out some adventurous activities or check out new kit. Zip wires, high ropes courses, climbing walls, slacklining, and great deals on kit and accessories are all featured, and there’s also a strong line-up of speakers, including Kenton Cool, Squash Falconer, Nick Bullock and award-winning author Gordon Stainforth.
Trek & Mountain is involved as a sponsor of the ’60 Years On Everest’ exhibit which, in association with the Mountain Heritage Trust and the Royal Geographical Society, presents a superb selection of photos, clothing and artifacts from some of the key expeditions that have taken place on the mountain since the first ascent in 1953.
The Outdoors Show runs till Sunday 20th Jan and tickets can be booked online or simply turn up on the day and buy your tickets from the box office. The £16 ticket also gives you entry to the Active Travel and London Bike Shows.
