Leading outdoor brand The North Face have just launched a new collection of Thermoball jackets and hoodies.
Combining PrimaLoft fibre ball technology with quilting techniques and engineered fabric from The North Face, the new Thermoball Full Zip Jacket (above) and Hoodie Jacket are available for both men and women. Lightweight and fast-drying, the garments have been designed for use in cold, damp conditions and are claimed to retain heat even when wet.
So how does Thermoball technology work? Well, the small, rounded Primaloft microfibre clusters mimic the warmth of down but with an additional tightly-quilted construction. Both jackets can be used either as a standalone garment or in conjunction with a shell. Inner and outer fabrics are both 100% nylon and feature a water repellent finish.
The Hoodie Jacket is priced at £170, while the Full Zip can be bought for £150.
