New belay jackets from PHD

PHD have added two new belay jackets to their winter collection, the lightweight Alpha and the extra-warm Zeta.

Designed to withstand temperatures of -10°C, the 660g Alpha jacket for mountain use (pictured) is filled using 133grm/m Primaloft One insulation for protection in rough conditions, while the slightly warmer yet heavier 820g Zeta can handle a punishing   -20°C, and consists of thick 200grm/m Primaloft fill.

Both jackets have a wide cut which PHD claim makes them easy to pull on over any other kit, while an elasticated inner allows expansion room for a hardshell but also a close fit over a fleece.

Suitable for both men and women, the jackets also feature a waterproof and breathable HS2 outer fabric, breathable ripstop M1 inner fabric, a helmet-compatible integral hood with wired peak, insulated storm baffle, two internal zipped and two hand warmer pockets, shoulder taped seams, Velcro cuffs and a stuff sac.
