Although the film’s main focus is the story of Cave’s remarkable climbing career, the other stars of the film are undoubtedly the Scottish mountains in winter. Andy’s career is indelibly linked with Scottish Winter Mountaineering and the snow-covered peaks of Glen Coe, the Nevis range and the Cairngorms provide the perfect backdrop to tell his amazing journey from coalminer to world-famous mountaineer.
