Outdoor enthusiasts looking for a weekend out on the peaks can head to the BMC Stanage Festival of walking and climbing this summer.
Set to take place over the weekend of 28-29 June, the festival will be held as part of the BMC’s 70th birthday celebrations at Stanage Edge, one of the UK’s best known crags. Outdoor lectures and professional climbing master classes will take place throughout the weekend, which will also feature a barbeque and lots of opportunities for bouldering, climbing and walking in the Peak District National Park. For those looking to stay on site, camping will be available close by at the North Lees Campsite.
