Have you ever dreamed about standing on top of the world’s highest freestanding mountain? At 5895m Kilimanjaro draws an estimated 25,000 people every year to climb its trails. But why is this mountain so popular and what draws so many people to spend a week or more climbing one of its many routes, and what can you expect if you decide to take on Kibo.
Ellis Brigham, in association with Trek & Mountain, have teamed up with photographer Paul Fosbury and expedition company Action Challenge for two informative and entertaining talks about Kilimanjaro. The evenings will appeal to both those who plan to climb Kili and to those who simply want to reminisce about a past climb.
The evening will feature stunning images from Paul covering life on the mountain to inspire you followed by a short presentation by Action Challenge covering everything you ever wanted to know about climbing the mountain.
