If you’re looking forward to warmer spring weather then the Scarpa Mustang GTX has arrived in the shops just in time.
Touted as offering the best of both world’s – lightweight yet durable – the Mustang is part of Scarpa’s Zero Gravity Range and uses a development of their classic Hi Trail Fly sole unit using the most up to date technology including Italian made PU and EVA inserts to increase the durability of the sole unit but actually increase comfort and sensitivity.
The upper boot is made from robust and highly abrasion resistant suede around the newly developed NBD last, which is designed to be snug and supportive. Scarpa have also beefed up the laces with our metal Speed Lacing system which helps, along with differential padding in the collar, tongue and Flex Point System, gives, according to Scarpa “incredible performance and comfort straight from the box”. The boot also features the new slightly stiffer Comfort Flex+ midsole which also helps to make the Mustang a great choice for anyone looking for a durable yet lightweight hiking boot.
With a suede upper, vibram sole and of course a Gore-Tex lining, the Mustang GTX weighs 1300g (pair) and is available now for £159.99.
