Mammut have launched a new urban-styled approach shoe, the Redburn Pro. The multi-functional shoe is intended to be equally at home on the hill or in the town and have been engineered for walking and biking. Featuring a Gripex Cougapproach Sole, claws and rib-shaped profiles – inspired by mountain lions no less – they should provide “maximum safety and grip” according to Mammut. With top-quality suede, the Redburn Pro comes in a range of colours and has a rubber toecap and heel offering protection and abrasion resistance. Mammut has also used narrow strips of webbing from the lacing area to the soles to ensure a close, stable shoe and a flex tongue to achieve a bespoke fit.
The Redburn is priced at £100 for both men’s and women’s versions, and comes in graphite/inferno and cyan/black stylings for men and graphite/pink for women.
