VAUDE have updated their range of Terra tents for 2013 specifically for the needs of the UK backpacker. The new and improved tents, which are available at competitive prices, include simultaneous pitching of the inner and fly sheet – which means that when pitching in the rain the inner won’t get wet – and an extra large porch design for more internal space to store gear and keep it dry, as well as providing more space to cook out of the wind. Fully seam taped ripstop fly sheet fabrics offer a lightweight but abrasion resistant tough waterproof protection, and aluminium alloy poles, high tech fabrics and a lack of unnecessary features mean it also has a low weight. The unique tent bag provided allows the whole tent to be compressed down to minimise pack size.
