Tickets are still available for this year’s Women’s Climbing Symposium – a day-long London based event solely for women, providing climbing tips, coaching and lectures.
Based at The Arch Climbing Wall, the event will take place on Saturday November 2 and aims to ‘connect, develop and inspire’ women climbers of all abilities and backgrounds, allowing them to share training methods and climbing techniques.
Previously held at Liverpool’s Climbing Hangar and now in its third year running, the symposium will include workshops on training, nutrition and injury prevention in addition to climbing focused lectures by renowned female climbers, covering everything from competitions to the representation of women in the climbing media.
The event was first established by three-time British Bouldering Champion Shauna Coxsey and co-owner of The Climbing Hangar Stephanie Meysner. Coaches this year will include Shauna Coxsey, Leah Crane, Suzan Dudink, Ellie Howard, Katherine Schirrmacher, Audrey Seguy, Emma Twyford and Lucinda Whittaker.
Full day tickets are priced at £60 with a talk-only ticket available for £40.
