European Outdoor Film Tour 2013

Outdoor Film Fest 2013 RESIZED
Further dates have been announced for the European Outdoor Film Tour 2013, a series of international adventure film evenings kicking off in Scotland this autumn.

The premiere will take place in Edinburgh at the Portobello Town Hall on November 15 before the tour continues to Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool and London, for a matinee showing at the Royal Geographical Society.

Films confirmed so far include “Wide Boyz”, a view into the lives of two British self-taught climbers who specialise in offwidth-climbing as they claim the first ascent of the world’s toughest offwidth route in Moab (Utah), “The Road from Karakol”, the road trip of American alpinist Kyle Dempster as he sets off from Karakol In Kirgysistan on bike to climb the country’s last unconquered peaks, and “North of the Sun”, the journey of two Norweigan Surfers who spend nine months in total isolation deep in the Arctic Circle.

Ulf Michels from E.O.F.T tour organisers Moving Adventures, said: “It’s great to be able to add even more UK tour dates to our calendar. We handpick the very best adventure sports films from around the world to create an awe-inspiring, adrenaline-pumping special edit that you won’t want to miss. If we find 10 minutes boring, it’ll end up on the cutting room floor.”

Tickets can be found at Ellis Brigham stores and on their website for £12.
