Trek & Mountain, in partnership with The North Face, Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports and Glenmore Lodge, are offering two lucky winners the chance to win training towards their Summer Mountain Leader Award (SML) – plus £1000 worth of top equipment from The North Face.
THE GEAR
Our two winners will be able to browse The North Face range at their local Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports store and choose £1000 of clothing and kit of their choice. This includes the Summit Series clothing range which features the Point Five Jacket (pictured above) and many other ‘best in class’ mountain products.
THE TRAINING
Once you are kitted out in your new The North Face gear, Glenmore Lodge will provide training in all the technical skills you need to lead groups in the mountains, hills and moorlands of the UK and Ireland in summer conditions. Your six days of training will include navigation, leadership, emergency procedures and group management, providing the experience you need to progress to the Summer ML Award assessment.
