This Saturday, 13th October, Andy Kirkpatrick will be hosting an entertaining evening lecture at the brand new Beacon Climbing Centre in Caernarfon, all proceeds of which will go to support the essential work of the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team. The event coincides with the official opening of the new Beacon Climbing Centre and throughout the day events and challenges will take place to mark the occasion.
Andy’s talk is entitled `Higher Education – Lessons Learnt From High Places` and recounts his recent climbing trip to El Cap in Yosemite with his 13yr old daughter. Anyone who has been following this amazing adventure on Twitter/Facebook will be keen to hear more about the trip and what better way to spend an evening than raising much-needed funds for the Llanberis MRT!
