Winter sports specialists Snow+Rock have announced the opening of a new outdoor themed concession in Selfridges department store.
Due to open its doors early next month in time for the winter season, the 3500 sq ft ground floor concession will feature winter sports and outdoor clothing and equipment including ski gear, snowboards and walking boots, in addition to a kids’ department and customisation bootlab. While the majority of brands in store will be exclusive to Snow+Rock, clothing from seasonal sports brand Maloja and technical clothing experts Toni Sailer will also be available, and we’ve been told ‘master bootfitters’ and knowledgeable staff will be on hand to answer any gear or sport related questions.
Buying Manager, Richard Jones, said: “We are excited to partner with Snow+Rock, a true specialist in Winter Sports stocking the highest performance product from the must have snowsports brands”. According to Snow+Rock, the new ‘house of brands’ section will feature a contemporary look with a smart, slick finish to match Selfridges’ classical decor. Future plans include the addition of a store at Gatwick Airport in December and the opening of a branch on Kensington High Street within the coming weeks.
