Rucksack experts Osprey are soon to launch a new climbing pack, intended for year-round use on single or multi-day climbs.
Weighing in at 1.19kg (M/L), the Mutant 38 technical sac is a new and improved version of their original Mutant model, with new features including a Dual ToolLock for ice axe attachment and FlapJacket top cover, making it lighter and more versatile.
The pack has a ventilated foam back panel and harness, designed to function within a wide temperature range, removable HDPE frame-sheet for flexibility and a sewn-in hipbelt, side ski carry and integrated climbing/ski helmet storage. Available in a variety of colours, the £100 Mutant 38 pack will be on sale from July.
