Held every November in the Lake District, the Kendal Mountain Festival features hundreds of film screenings plus numerous speakers and guests. Festival organisers have revealed some of the big names that will make an appearance at the festival. Tommy Caldwell, who made headlines last year for free climbing the Dawn Wall with Kevin Jorgeson as well as the completion of the Fitz Traverse in Patagonia with Alex Honnold, will make his way to Kendal this year. Kendal Mountain Festival has secured the second public screening of ‘Jeff Lowe’s Metanoia’, a film about the life and times of the legendary US alpinist. Only two weeks ago, Jeff Lowe’s film was completed and premiered at Banff Mountain Festival on 2nd November.
